Moki Swimwear F.A.QWhat is the UPF rating on Moki Garments?Moki has a minimum of 50+ UPF protection on all of its garments. Darker colours like black & navy have a higher protection factor than lighter colours like white & yellow. Also, most swimwear is fully lined, therefore giving you two layers of fabric. Euro Trunks are front lined only. Is Moki Australian made?Moki is proud to advertise that 95% of all garments & Accessories are Australian Made. Moki Sizing:All sizes within the Moki Swimwear range are based upon the Australian Standard of Sizing. Please refer to our sizing chart for precise measurements and sizing. Can I Iron my swimwear?Moki strongly recommends that you do not iron any part of your swimwear garment. The fabric used for swimwear does not need to be ironed as all creases attained with cleaning and storing the garment will drop out. Any garment that includes a transfer on it, is strongly recommended not to be ironed, as the heat disintegrates and ruins the transfer. Moki does not even recommend a cool iron on any of its items. We do not guarantee any of our products if they have been ironed. How often are new products released?Moki aims to release a complete new range of styles and designs every year. Quite a bit of research goes into sourcing new fabrics, colour pallets and designs to keep with the current fashion trend. Moki will launch its Spring/Summer range in August each year. All accessories are handmade to compliment all colours and designs, and are a fantastic way of completing the Moki look. They are introduced to the range throughout the year. If there is a particular product you would like included in the Moki range, please send us an email. What if the order I place on the website is not available in the size I require?Occasionally we receive many orders at the same time with only a limited amount of stock left on the shelves and then the item has sold out and we haven’t had time to make an adjustment to the website before the next order comes in. If this were to happen, Moki would immediately contact you to advise that the size is not available and would offer an alternate style that is available in the size you require. Are MOKI Prices GST Inclusive? All prices quoted by phone or email and those listed on the website are all inclusive of GST. My Swimwear has tiny spots on it after wearing it down to the beach? This is sand trapped in the fibers of the fabric. Sand spots usually appear after being at the beach and are more evident with lighter fabrics. You won’t notice them in the darker colours. What happens is, when the children are playing in the sand (usually at the beach) the sand imbeds itself within the fiber’s and remains there leaving dark spots in the garment. To clear the garment of the sand, all you do is slightly stretch the dry garment (this will open the fiber’s again) and encourage the sand granules to drop out. Alternatively, try this in the bath when you are washing the sand off the children and watch the sand fall to the bottom of the bath. This way you are washing the garment with fresh water and taking the sand out at the same time.
